This Privacy Policy explains how Awake Corp (주식회사 어웨이크코퍼레이션) (business registration no. 841-88-01897, 537 Eonju-ro (ABT Tower), Gangnam-gu, Seoul, Republic of Korea — "creator.ly", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects personal information when you use the creator.ly website and services (the "Service"). We act as the data controller for the personal information described below.
1. Information we collect
Information you provide:
- Account and handle reservation — name, email address, requested handle, chosen plan tier, and (optionally) phone number.
- Profile content — anything you choose to publish on your creator.ly page.
- Support communications — messages you send us.
Payment information: Payments are processed by Paddle, our merchant of record. Paddle collects and processes your payment card details and billing information under its own privacy policy (https://www.paddle.com/legal/privacy). We never receive or store your full card details; we receive only transaction metadata (e.g. product, amount, transaction status, billing country).
Information collected automatically:
- Basic visitor analytics for pages (e.g. page views, referrer, approximate region, device/browser type).
- Server logs (IP address, timestamps, requested URLs) kept for security and operations.
- Cookies or similar technologies strictly necessary for the Service to function, and — only with your consent where required — analytics cookies.

3. Sharing and processors
We share personal information only with:
- Paddle (merchant of record and payment processing);
- Hosting and infrastructure providers (including Vercel Inc. for website hosting and Supabase for form/database infrastructure), acting as processors under contract;
- Email infrastructure providers used to operate
@creator.lymailboxes and send service messages; - Professional advisers and authorities where required by law, court order, or to protect our legal rights.
Some providers are located outside your country (including the United States). Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers, such as standard contractual clauses, and — for users in Korea — we disclose overseas transfers in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).
4. Retention
- Account and handle data: kept while your account or handle is active, then deleted or anonymized within 90 days after the post-cancellation grace period ends, unless a longer period is required by law.
- Transaction and tax records: kept for 5 years under Korean e-commerce and tax record-keeping laws.
- Server logs: kept up to 12 months.
- Marketing consents: until you withdraw consent.
5. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction (including under Korean PIPA and the EU/UK GDPR), you have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information; to restrict or object to processing; and to withdraw consent at any time without affecting prior processing. You may also lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority (in Korea: the Personal Information Protection Commission / 개인정보침해신고센터 privacy.kisa.or.kr; in the EU: your local data protection authority).

6. Security
We use industry-standard safeguards: encryption in transit (TLS), access controls, and the principle of least privilege for internal access. No card data is stored on our systems. If a data breach affecting your rights occurs, we will notify you and the relevant authority as required by law.
7. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 14, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
8. Cookies
Strictly necessary cookies are used to operate the site (e.g. session state, language). Analytics cookies are used only where permitted or consented. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling necessary cookies may break parts of the Service.
9. Changes
